During a red carpet interview with Lara
Spencer during ABC’s pre-show for the 87th Academy Awards, Dakota snapped at her mom.
"She's a really good actress," Griffith told
Spencer, when asked about her daughter’s BDSM movie. "I don't need to see [ Fifty Shades ] to know how good she is."
25-year-old Dakota Johnson then snapped “Alright! You don’t have to see it,” before turning her face away from the camera and adding, “Jesus Christ.”
Lara Spencer then explained why Melanie wouldn't want to see it because of the sex scenes. "It's a movie. She knows that," Dakota responded, before adding, “I’m like, ‘You can see it!’ and she’s just like, ‘No.’”
