56-year-old Madonna addressed her ongoing feud with Lady who recently got engaged to her long time on and off boyfriend, Taylor Kinney,28 saying she only felt ill will against her on one occasion, and that was to preserve artistic integrity.
"I don't think she wants my crown," Madonna said of Gaga "We live in a
world where people like to pit women against each other. And this is why I love the idea of embracing other females who are doing what I'm doing…"
The feud she addressed is the one that happened in Jan, 2012 after the release of "born this way" which had similarities to her 1989 hit "Express Yourself" that made Madonna and several others slam the newly engaged singer. Several months later, Gaga clapped back that Madonna's accusations were "a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about."
