The 26-year-old Afro pop star lost her dad earlier this year. Since the death of her dad, Mr. James Alade who was a former police commissioner, Yemi has avoided making interviews about him.
Her mum Helen Uzoma however granted an interview with Encomium magazine and said that she will like to keep it "personal"
Yemi Alade who arrived Nigeria last week after a brief stay in Paris took to instagram and posted a picture of her dad in his full police regalia with the caption.
‘I think of you everyday but i know you are resting now…its my prayer that you rest in the bossom of the Lord..amen. You always loved animals and plants,i pray that God’s gardens and farms give you rest of mind, peace and serenity now and forever …I will always love you : Rtd
